7 Months

Overall Health:
Healthy bouncing baby boy.  There were two weeks this month that daycare called us to pick you up early (and hence have to miss the next day as well) because of a fever one time (100.4) and some vomiting and diarrhea another time.
We didn't take you to the doctor for any of these illnesses, since you were acting like yourself within a couple hours for each incident.  During the second one especially, within an hour of coming home you were laughing and playing with your toys like nothing happened. (Already playing hooky from school!)

Clothes:
You are wearing mostly nine month or 6-12 month clothing.  Even some of the 9 month stuff is starting to get a little snug on you.  I had these cute shorts from Children's Place that fit you fine one week and then a week later I couldn't button them.
To the "stuff too small for Wesley" tub it went.  By the way, I have 3 tubs already full of your old stuff.
You are also finally growing out of the size 2 diapers.  Mostly, I wanted to use up my stash before moving you to size 3s.  But you fit comfortably in size 3s now.

Sleep:
You are getting better, but still not sleeping through the night.  You go down at night after your final bottle between 8 and 9pm, and then usually start crying for some food around the 2am to 4am window.  After we feed you then, you sleep until it is time to get up for the day around 6:30am.  If we didn't have to go to work, I think you would sleep a little longer. ;)

Diet:
You have tried about every phase 1 food there.  Rice cereal, pears, peaches, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, and peas.  You loove your banana and sweet potato puffs but haven't quite got the handle on picking them up and putting them in your mouth.
Instead I bought some baby mum mums in banana flavor that you absolutely love.  They are a sticky mess, but you love them so I can deal with it.  Of course, you are also getting breastmilk as your main source of nutrition.  You still drink about 6 6 ounce bottles a day.

Milestones:
You are able to roll over both ways and sit up unassisted.  Occasionally, you have toppled over and hit your head on the carpet, but babies bounce. I also think you have a hard head like your mama.
You are now pushing yourself up with your arms.
You pretty much talk nonstop these days.  You are making the dada sound which makes Dad soo happy, and also never stop babbling throughout the day.  You definitely let us know what you are thinking all.the.time.
You also do another cute thing where you get soo excited by things that you start moving your arms and legs like crazy.  I'm amazed at how fascinated you are by the littlest things.  I would love to know what is going on in your head.
You love to play peekaboo and think it is the funniest game ever.
You like reading and eating  books, although I must admit you would rather just turn the pages than actually wait for me to read the words.
You have developed quite the cute personality these days.  Your smile can light up a room, and you love being held by anyone who will hold you.  You have never met a stranger it seems.

Since we don't have a doctor's appointment until 8 months, I will have to save the statistics until then.
